What year vortech had no air pump
I just got a vortech 5.3 for swapping into my 65 C10, it is a drive by cable so i know it's pre 2002. It dosen't have an air pump, any one know what years came without the pump?

Truck motors with Federal Emissions do not have smog pumps.
States with tighter emissions regulation's may require certain engines to have a smog pump (California)
