What is the average going rate to re build a stock transfer case?

which tcase? i can "rebuild" a 205 for about $30 in gaskets and seals. typically the bearings are like new.
a "shop" will poke your eyes out on price and i can estimate 800 bucks. theres no magic inside these cases, its just parts. |

auto transmissions are super easy, especially three speeds like the 350 and 400.
very few special tools to do either one. i spent $150 on a rebuild kit with nice clutches and a hundred bucks or so for a new convertor. took me four hours to have an auto rebuilt. i can probably do a 205 in three hours with the watching the paint dry. |
