Little help in Az, Please

I am looking for New brake lines in Phoenix, Az. for 1971 C-20 307 eng. I need the ones from the Master cyl to the proportioning valve. My pro valve is mounted on the front cross member. Any thing will help! Nick

Re: Little help in Az, Please

Get some brake line and fittings. You will need a flaring tool, make your own.

Am I missing something here? The 71 stock has front disc brakes and the conbination valve is on a bracket just below the master cylinder. Did this get removed or relocated to the front cross member? Does it have/need both front and rear M/C output lines running to it? Then have the rear brake lines extending from it as well?

SS Tim I do not know if it is stock or not but yes it does have both M/C lines running in and out to front and back. Here are some pics.

Re: Little help in Az, Please

That is most definitely odd. I have never seen one mounted there before. I would suggest mounting it where it should have been from factory.

Re: Little help in Az, Please

I drive a 69, Drum/Drum.. I was in need of a new line from the master to the distribution block right under it, probably 4 inches at the most. Couldnt find one anywhere, so I just bought the supplies and bent my own. It was very easy with some practice. Way easier than trying to track one down haha.
