Can anyone help with what beds are the same

I have the option to get a 64 chevy shortbed and longbed frame and cab that are all shot but I know where to get a 50's stepside bed and a 67-72 stepside beds for the trucks. I can't pass on this deal because they're cheap. CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE.

Re: Can anyone help with what beds are the same

the mounting locations will be different, but should not be too much of a problem to make it work.
55-66 same fenders and holes
67-72 different fenders and holes, but the same bedsides.
breakdown for the different year frame mounts:
55-59
60-62
63-66
67-72 (not sure if 67-72 is the same as 63-66)

Re: Can anyone help with what beds are the same

okay I know this is an old post BUT. I have a 1961 c10 longfleet and I found a free 65 longfleetside bed. I heard the bed crossmembers on them dont line up with the 60-62 frame. I really just wanted the bed to replace my dented up passenger bedside. will it be a direct bolt on if I just replace the bad side?

I think yes, there might be a couple bolts that don't exactly line up through the wood, if you look at my 65 build in my signature threads listed below, I put a 61 bedside on it , and I am pretty sure I posted some shots.
