Trying to gather info on lowering my 72 Cheyenne. What is the lowest you can lower the truck without bagging it? Also, does anyone know the offset on the front/rear wheels as well as tire sized so they dont rub. I was in Charlotte this past weekend and saw most trucks with 18 front/20 on rear, but tire sizes varied.

Welcome to forum! MD? Maryland? Kinda windy right now aint it? 2-1/2" drop spindles and one half of one coil will drop the front 3-1/2" and no effect to the geometry. 4" drop springs in the rear and your good to go. No rubbing and no shock or panhard bar changes necessary. I'm running 8" rally's with BFG 275/60/15's all around.

The lowest static drop I've personally seen is 5/7. I personally recommend the 4/6 kit from ECE. It's about the best all around drop combo with great ride quality.

what wheel offset can you go with a 4/6 drop? I heard 10" on rear with 6" offset and and 8" wide on the front with a 6" offset? If so, what size tires would you go, say an 18" front and back......possibly 20' wheel on rear.
