lowering my 72
Trying to gather info on lowering my 72 Cheyenne. What is the lowest you can lower the truck without bagging it? Also, does anyone know the offset on the front/rear wheels as well as tire sized so they dont rub. I was in Charlotte this past weekend and saw most trucks with 18 front/20 on rear, but tire sizes varied.
thanks again, Greg |

Hey bcnya2 ...
to the forums and from Ohio. Agreed that try the search and you will likely find your answers but in the mean time here is a bump for you.

Re: lowering my 72
what wheel offset can you go with a 4/6 drop? I heard 10" on rear with 6" offset and and 8" wide on the front with a 6" offset? If so, what size tires would you go, say an 18" front and back......possibly 20' wheel on rear.
thanks again, Greg |
