Anyone install door poppers

Door poppers? I already have shaved my doors and wanting to know what kind and where you got your door poppers. Also where did you put your emergency pull if the popper has a fail.

I have heard over time they can go bad so how are yours holding up?

Re: Anyone install door poppers

I used to have shaved door handles in my Toyota mini truck. I just used power trunk release motors. Had them for years and years and never any problems. I just ran a cable from my inner door through the door jam into the inner fender and had it tucked away and hidden as an emergency puller incase the battery died or something.
