Re: SEMA 2012 Blazer Pics
Very nice, but it needs rear view mirrors. What/who was the company displaying it?

What is going on with the top
back at the upper rear corner is it just me or does that have some unusual body lines in it |

Re: SEMA 2012 Blazer Pics
Nice truck indeed! Anybody else think it needs more rubber on those wheels?? Also maybe a gloss top to match that awesome black color? I feel a little picky all of a sudden

Re: SEMA 2012 Blazer Pics
Good catch on the top.
Looks like they added another contour line to the very top of the top. Here are the closest pictures I could find on my computer showing the top rear corner at the same angle. The drip rail is shaved (I'm guessing they don't plan on driving it in the rain).

Re: SEMA 2012 Blazer Pics
It must have been the lighting in that pic because I looked at that Blazer a lot while I was there and talked to the guy that did the body work on the top. I didn't notice any type of build up that's showing up in the pic at all when I was staring at it. It's a single wall and drip rails being shaved was the only mod. There are bows in the top that he simply left alone due to the amount of work/labor needed to get it perfect and with the lift would never been seen. It was as beautiful in person as it was in these pics though! I personally thought too that the stance, rubber to wheel combo was spot on.
On a side note, the guys at the Marquez booth were really cool people. Their new style tail lights now hide the hardware for a cleaner look and they also have a tail for 67-72's that omits the backup light and turns it into 1 big brake light (cutting is required on the body of course).

Re: SEMA 2012 Blazer Pics
I didn't even think to look at the wheel/tire sizes, but I just automatically thought 22's when I was by it. I heard him say it was a 6" lift to someone though.

Re: SEMA 2012 Blazer Pics
Of Course each to their own, maybe I`m old school however I always like the more rubber look. Something like 35`s on 15` or 40`s on 17`
Althought i do not have this combo now, I think the best look is still the factory rallies on 35`s or 37`s

Re: SEMA 2012 Blazer Pics
Thats too much rim for the rubber... 35's on 17's or 37's on 18's max for my preference.

Re: SEMA 2012 Blazer Pics
The roof only has the original body line. I help with this blazer and I towed it to sema and back. As far as the wheels go you can't ***** when you get them sponsored and they had to be 20s to clear the 14" rotors and 8 piston calipers that were also sponsored. It's built to be a driver and that's what he plans to do with it is enjoy it.
