Note: You have a C2500 and a K2500, four eyes number differently than our Chevy brethren.
There shouldn't be much of a problem with the body swap. I would personally keep the 67 front end and rock it. (Fenders, grills, and hood interchange 67-72 for GMCs except marker lights). As for Cummins conversions, many of us have done them and it's not too bad. I love mine! Make sure to put up a build thread no matter what you decide to do.
