1962 Park lights

Does anyone know if the park lights on a 62 C10 go off when the headlights are on?

Yes, they do. side marker lights weren't required until around 63 or 64 if I remember right.


EDIT: Nope, it was 1968.


You can bypss that and make them stay on all the time if you want. Here's a writeup for a GMC. IDK if Chevy fix for the lamp issue was the same:

Thanks for the reply. I will do this mod later on today. Still have to figure out why my tail lights come on as soon as the ignition is turned on.

How weird I was just about to ask the same question. Saw the park lamps go off when the headlights were on when I was figuring out all my light gremlins. I didn't know if it was right.
