Removing non-AC heater core box from firewall??

It's been awhile since I had the big ars heater box off my firewall. since I don't use the heater, I'm going to remove that ugly box from the firewall and make some delete plates. I just can't remember if the fenderwell has to be off or if you can get at all the bolts as is. Are some of the bolts accessed through the inside? Thanks!

There are also bolts on the inside that you might need to remove the glove box to get to. I'm tearing my truck apart so I didn't mess with it too much, but since you are trying to keep yours together you might be able to find a way to do it without removing too much.

It's alot easier if you pull the front cap AND the engine..... It was also easier without the seat and the glove box.....for me.

When you say the front cap....are you talking the front clip? The engine is out!

NON A/C ??? Shouldn't have to do anything from inside !!! Everything is outside. It's easier if you drop the inner fender to get at the bolts behind it.

I wasn't sure if GM was smart enough to make the bolts on the fender side reversed so you could get to them from inside the cab without taking off or dropping down the FW.
