Brake Lights Don't Work
Just acquired a 92 Silverado in great shape, however the brake lights don't work.
The fuse is good and I checked the bulbs and they are good. Used a test light and not getting any current at the rear under the bed, exc ept for park and turn and backup lights. So, I replaced the brake light switch under the dash. Still nothing. Anyone have any ideas on what to check next? |

Re: Brake Lights Don't Work
Check the white wire to the turn signal light switch. Go read the thread in the link posted below.

Re: Brake Lights Don't Work
Thanks ChevyTech.
It was the white wire, just like in the post you sent me. I wonder if mine and all the others with brake light problems were caused by one guy at the factory. HMMMMM Thanks. |
