Brake Lights Don't Work

Just acquired a 92 Silverado in great shape, however the brake lights don't work.
The fuse is good and I checked the bulbs and they are good.
Used a test light and not getting any current at the rear under the bed, exc ept for park and turn and backup lights.
So, I replaced the brake light switch under the dash.
Still nothing.

Anyone have any ideas on what to check next?

Check the white wire to the turn signal light switch. Go read the thread in the link posted below.

Re: Brake Lights Don't Work

Thanks ChevyTech.

It was the white wire, just like in the post you sent me.

I wonder if mine and all the others with brake light problems were caused by one guy at the factory. HMMMMM

Thanks.
