I Noticed a little 6x6" section on the door of a cargo van.. I mean is taht realy gonna do anything? a 6"x6" section on a 3'x 4' door.. If it does work how would one determine the placement?.. this stuffs expensive if i have to cover verything in my cab.. i was thinking bout using th echrome colored bubble wrap stuff from the home depot

I did my doors, roof, floor, and doors.

I used B Quiet.

It's up to you to what you want to cover

From what I have read it depends on what you are covering it for. If it's just for sound then yes it keeps the area in a panel from vibrating because of the size of the metal panel.
Now if you are trying to keep road noise out and AC/heat in then cover every thing you can.

I did a little research when I did mine and most that used the bubble stuff said they would not use it again. To deaden sound you need something with density. Go over to the roofing section and get the peal-n-stick stuff. Two rolls will do your cab (not including the firewall) perfectly. I used two rolls and had enough left over to to one door too.

Found some ducting insulatin sticks right on .. it 15" x25' for $20 i bought two and will use the bubble stuff over it

i heard that peal n stick smells funny especially if its hot like here in ca. does yours smell?

I used the bubble wrap stuff all over. Hardly any outside noise. Keeps heat out, and cool in, or vice/versa.

Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
