Frame probs

well the guy that had this truck before me decided that he was going to hack on the frame and mutilate it with a set of torches! i was wondering what years i could use as a replacement frame.

Re: Frame probs

Why not just weld panels and box in those nose sections? Lots easire than a frame swap and it'll wind up stronger than new.

Re: Frame probs

I would imagine that someone tried to stick a newer style rad in there that had cooler lines and weren't to bright and by the way they chopped out that crossmember for the a/t. just weld some sections back into those gaps

Re: Frame probs

I agree.....just weld in some new metal. Done correctly, it'll be as good as new. No need to box the frame.
