'72 Cheyenne Trailer Hitch

Trailer hitch from a '72 Cheyenne. $75, local pickup. Will ship, however, oversize package/heavy weight from 70065.

Re: '72 Cheyenne Trailer Hitch

I calculated shipping to 78741, 54 lb., at $35 Fedex Ground. I'll take $100 shipped. Thanks, Casey

If the first in line declines, I'll let you know the shipping to Blaine, WA. Let's give him a few days. Thanks, Casey

Re: '72 Cheyenne Trailer Hitch

The price sounds fair. I wanted to be sure that this will fit my truck. Do you know if it came off a truck with leafs or coils in the rear? Could you measure the overall width, the length of the side pieces and the distance between the mountain holes? Sorry for the trouble.

No problem. This came off of a 1972 Cheyenne Fleet Side Truck, 1/2 ton. I bought this hitch in 1985 from U-Haul to haul my boat. (It still has the U-Haul sticker on the side.) The truck had coil springs. It measures 34" total width assembled, 22-1/4" length of side pieces, and almost 32" center hole to center hole. This is the measure of the square, and doesn't include where the receiver/hitch extends. It fits a '72 Cheyenne.

Let me know if you want it and I'll PM my PayPal info. Thanks, Casey

You can check, but this came off of a '72 Cheyenne with factory equipment, coil springs, and no modifications. Let me know, Casey

Re: '72 Cheyenne Trailer Hitch

I'll PM you with the payment information-PayPal.

I don't have the hardware because my truck is in a restoration shop in Memphis, TN. If you can wait, I plan to go there sometime soon and will look for the mounting bolts. Thanks, Casey

Re: '72 Cheyenne Trailer Hitch

This hitch is sold and was shipped today. I'll PM you with the tracking number, Steve. Thanks, Casey

Also, I'll be going to Tennessee this weekend. If I find the mounting bolts, I'll be in touch with you.

Re: '72 Cheyenne Trailer Hitch

I got the hitch last week. Looks good! Thanks again! My little girl had fun aging with the box and packing as well.

Please keep me in mind if you find the mounting hardware. Otherwise it will be another $15-$20 his spring when I go to mount it!

Re: '72 Cheyenne Trailer Hitch

Wideside...I went to Memphis last weekend and didn't find the bolts. I looked in every box and didn't find the hardware. If I find them I'll be in touch.

By the way, look on the hitch where it mounts--was it 4 bolts or 6? You can tell by the markings on the steel. Thanks, Casey
