What do i own?

i have a 1989 1 ton crew cab longbed 4x4 with TBI 350. Do i have a R3500, a v3500 or a k 3500? What are the differences? Feel free to bash my ignorance as well as my spelling as long as there is an answer in there somewhere.

Thanks in advance.

You've got a V3500.

R = two wheel drive
V = four wheel drive
K = '73 to '86 squarebody 4wd, or '88 and beyond GMT400 style 4wd
3500 = one ton

The model number would be a V30943
3 = one ton
09 = long wheel base
43 = crew cab

K

Re: What do i own?

As Keith stated above 73-87, C&K series. After 87 it became R&V series for the 1 ton square body style. The square body was only avail from 87-91 in 1 tons, and Blazer/Suburban. I think you should give it to me. Welcome to the site, put up some pics as well.
