WTB: 5-Lug Rally Wheels

I'm looking for two 15x8 and two 15x7 Rally (Rallye) wheels in the 5on5 bolt configuration. Without curb rash or rust pitting. Also, I'm mostly hoping to find some within a few within a few hours of Houston TX since shipping on wheels is pretty pricey.

-Chris

p.s. Not looking for 15x6.5 van rallies.

Re: WTB: 5-Lug Rally Wheels

Hey Keith, yeah, I've been scouring CL. I saw those and a few other sets. I ran across one really nice set but I can't get the person to respond. They didn't leave a number so I've just been trying to contact them by email.

Re: WTB: 5-Lug Rally Wheels

You might have to buy a full set of 8's and a full set of 7's to get your set.
I usually buy 7's when I see them.
They are hard to find.

15x8's are plentiful.
(so are the 15x6.5 van rallys)

Yeah. I've been trying to get in touch with the owner of the 15x7's set in San Antonio for a week now. I wouldn't mind buying a set of each. Never hurts to have spares.

Re: WTB: 5-Lug Rally Wheels

Any reason for mixing the 7's and 8's? I have a few of each and am building a set to go on the next project. I just scored a pair of 8's with gmc caps and rings and roller tires for $40 locally. What vehicles had 7's and what had 8's?

i will have to go out and check but I have a set with GMC centers and good rings that are coming off of another parts truck I had. I will let you know and I am not too terribly far from Tomball.

Since I plan to add front disc brakes (which widens the track width) I would be running the 7's up front to help pull the wheels and tires in so it will look more even down the side.

Great, thanks. Let me know. I actually don't need the centers or rings if you're willing to separate.

This may help you. This is a 7 and 8" set up on my DD 94, front 235/70/15 on 7" and rear 275/60/15 on 8". Hope this helps. Please don't rag on my baby, she has 280,000+ miles and still kicking.

I have 2 sets of 15X8" wheels. You can come and choose the two that work best for you if you like. PM me if interested.

Re: WTB: 5-Lug Rally Wheels

You should be able to find the 7's at a salvage yard. I ran 6.5's for a while and felt like I was driver one of my old drag cars. The 7 IMO is the way to go vs. the 6.5 but will be harder to find. If you cannot find any then let me know I have some if it comes down to that.

I know this is not exactly what you are looking for, but I have a set of 15X8's that have been reconditioned, no tires, rings or caps and two 6.5's for $250. There is a local pick-n-pull yard that may have the 15X7's. Was there specific years or trucks for those? Greg

Re: WTB: 5-Lug Rally Wheels

I am doing the same set up on my 72,,,,,15x7"s up front and 15x8's in the back.
It took me a few weeks, but I was able to find a set, after searching and emailing people, of the Chevy rally 15x7's & 15x8's.
I found (1)15x7 on craigslist the first day I looked and picked it up the next day, then I got another 7" from a fellow board member a few weeks later. The 8's will be easier to find on CL, just look everyday on there. Did you go out the Conroe swap meet last weekend, I saw some 8's out there.

Got any pics? How much are you asking? Shipped to 77018 (business address). I'm just looking for the wheels without center caps or trim rings.

Thanks.

No I didn't do the swap yet. I just figured I'd get some wheels and tires ready so once I get all the parts together I can do it all at once.

Re: WTB: 5-Lug Rally Wheels

I have two 15x7 and two 15x8 take 50 shipped a wheel. So 200 for 4 . Take me a day or two to get them ready to ship. Still mounted. And the two 7 wide I will blast before shipping.

That's a fair price including shipping. I may have to take you up on that if I can't find any local (and you still have them).

Is there any edge (curb) damage on the front side or rust (pitting) damage on the wheels?
