Re: shipping beds and cabs?

Its a PITA mine got destroyed and took 6+ months to get the problem resolved. you might be better to put something up on uship and get a private carrier. what ever you do crate it all the way around so they cant stack stuff on the part.

Re: shipping beds and cabs?

I have yet to find a good way to have large body parts like this shipped properly. If I knew a way I would have bought your bed. Even a non-running truck is a difficult and more expense thing to have shipped. t least that can be rolled, but expect the price to about double AND an increased chance of damage. A cab or bed? You can count on those getting beat up bad. Even cabs I've bought from guys who hauled themselves with only loading and unloading one time ended up denting rockers and/or upper roof corners and cab back corners.
The best way to ship a Stepside bed (or Fleetside) is to break it down and strap to a pallet. I have had this priced before, but for me the cost was prohibitive. C to WA is a common route and should be more reasonable.
