Re: Rim size

Maybe, maybe not.
If they're 6 bolt maybe!
Newer ones maybe not!
Offset won't work or centre bore too small.
Got a pic!!

Re: Rim size

Looks like they'll work.
Get him to measure the centre bore.
How wide are they?
Price is a bit high for just the rims.

Re: Rim size

Those rims you found are an alloy not aluminum I will search for some aluminum. I think the rims are an 8" but I would have to ask I didn't because of the 16" and not knowing if 16's would fit under my truck. That is what the concern is will they rib and be to high. I know they will bolt on but will they work well.

Re: Rim size

I have a 63' and it has 265/70/16 and they fit fine but it is a 4x4 with a 4 inch lift. If it is a private seller ask if you can drive out and put them on to see if they will fit first. A 305 is kind of wide and may rub when the steering wheel is turned.

This may help or confuse or make me look stupid lol, but most aluminum wheels are aluminum alloy, they do this to make them strong. What I'm saying is "aluminum" or "alloy" is a way of marketing, describing, selling the same material. I'd make sure you can get the size tire you want in a 16, the variety is better in 15s or 17s

Re: Rim size

i took the stock rims and tires lt265/75/r16 off my 1995 chevy k2500 and tried them on my 1966 chevy c-20. the c-20 has the 17.5 rims and tires , , the 95 rims have a back spacing of 4" , and the 66 rim has a back spacing of 5" , the 95's fit and looked good , no rubbing anywhere , but stuck out further by 1/2 in. they worked pretty good , just to give you some ideal .

Re: Rim size

Wow you did that for me??

That is one thing that I also wondered about do the 16s look cooler then the 15s what did you think?

And when you say the c20 has 17.5 rims do you mean width?

And is there any difference between the c20 and c10 as far as clearance.

Height wise I think I would be fine but if I make a sharp turn that would be the problem.

Re: Rim size

the 16's do look cooler. the 17.5's are the original rims , i think there somewhere in the 61/2- 7" with , they seem skinny. the c-20 should be a bigger tire size over a c-10. well i turned my wheels back and for and got under there and looked and it did not look to be rubbing anywhere , it looked like it had about 2" clearance on the fronts. when i put the 16" on the rear it moved out further than the stock rim by 1/2 " , it was a little close to the outer bed metal by 1" but it was centered right in the middle of the tubs.

Re: Rim size

If the bolt pattern is correct which I suspect it is, you will need to look at what lug nuts you will need. Alum rims usually have a think mounting area and the lugs reach thru the hole instead of a tapered hole like on steel rims.

Re: Rim size

Aluminum and alloy are just 2 names for basically the same thing. Some people call them aluminum wheels, others call them alloy wheels. All Aluminum wheels are made from an aluminum alloy.

The diameter of the wheels is not as much of a determing factor in fitment as is what size tire is on the wheels. Those wheels with the 305/70R16 tires might cause clearance issues. But then they may not too. Another factor is what the ride height is of your truck.
