got my wheels

FWIW I got the wheels for my 66 c10 project. They are the hard to find 15x6- 6 lugs from the 72-86 c-10 4x4's. For the new guys, they are the ones that fit the disc brakes and take a hub cap. Now I just need to get them blasted and painted.

I was having trouble finding them until I realized they also used these wheels on Jeep Wagoneers of the same era. I ran across a guy selling Jeep stuff and he had all I wanted. So I bought 5 for my truck.

Just thought I would mention that for anyone out there that is still looking for these wheels for their truck.

Good hunting...

Re: got my wheels

Man, live and learn. A year or two ago, I threw 2 complete sets of them on a load of scrap, had no idea they were hard to come by. My 85 K10 came from the factory with them, and I later picked up a second set to mount my plowing tires on. Eventually, I put rallys on it, and later got tired of tripping over the 8 steelies. DOH!

Re: got my wheels

Are the Jeep wheels 7" or 8" wide? The wider wheels are like hens teeth!

Re: got my wheels

These Jeep wheels are 15x6, and yes the 15x8's are really rare too.

Re: got my wheels

Yeah, the 15x8 are very hard to find. I lucked out and picked up 5 from a guy locally.
