Alignment Question Please........

I have a 66 stepside with trailing arm rear suspension. Can the rear alignment be changed at all?

I know my front is off for sure but when I removed the rear tires I noticed they were scuffed some and it might be an alignment issue. I just bought brand newtires and want to get it done right.

If your rear end housing is not sitting square with the frame then you need to be looking for a possible tweek in one of the frame rails. Also check the cross member that anchors the trailing arms for squareness with the frame.

I'll chek all that tomorrow but I checked it when I first did the suspension. I'm not sure if it is off and if it is I'm sure not by much.

Guess I'll know once I get it on the machine....

Well I took the advice and tried to get it done at home by using the string method. Then went and bought a unch of shims and stffed them in there. Took it for a test drive but it still didnt feel right so I bit the bullet and took it to get done.
The camber was still way out and they did the best they could to get it close, but it is even at least now.
I was able to get the toe pretty good on the passengers side but the other side was still way off. Now everything is set and it drives great!!!
