1968 GMC Finished
Well here is a 68 GMC I've been working on for the last 3 months. Super low miles on a fresh 250 I6, new clutch and the works. All new inside including new seat cover, with new foam and springs, new carpet, sill plates, dash pad, and fully rebuilt gauge cluster, carpeted gas tank cover, and visors. New wood bed floor made from rustic cedar with a dutch oil finish. 5 new tires with very nice wheels & caps. New lowering springs with new shocks up front, and removed leafs with lowering hangers and new shocks in the rear. And best or worst part for last, the paint job that took almost 45 years to make with a little cool pinsrtiping just to make it pop.
It's a fun truck that is super solid and runs & drives like a dream. Thanks |

Re: 1968 GMC Finished
Good luck with the sale. Going to be flipping the blue one as well? I like the color and patina, what drivetrain does it have?

Re: 1968 GMC Finished
I'm not sure just yet. The blue truck is super solid and virtually rust free. I can't hardly even find a dent in the truck. So I'm going to put a new clutch kit in it, new brakes all around, new tires & wheels and then make a decision on keeping it or not.
Thanks |

Re: 1968 GMC Finished
Super nice looking trucks, and yes very solid. When I used to live in Fairview a guy out there had a really nice 69-72 GMC stepside I feel in love with. This was back in the late 80's, I'm thinking it was a 6 cyl. but had a Doug Nash 5 speed hooked up behind it. Always was amazed how much better preserved trucks were down there compared to here in Ky!

Re: 1968 GMC Finished
I hear ya. I buy and flip several of these trucks a year and mostly buy local solid trucks. I enjoy the hunt and seeing them back on the road.

Re: 1968 GMC Finished
I'm thinking 8" steel wheels in back and 6" upfront. Big and little tires, dogdish caps, old faded door logo and some cool pinstriping. Black wheels or white is the big decision.

Good looking trucks man! Here's mine. Kinda Patina, but not really. Repaint in the late 80's if I had to guess..
