Steering column rattle
I have done a search and found the info on the ISS but these people are describing a clunk or rattle at low speeds when turning. I have an '04 3500 that rattles constantly from the steering column at highway speed when going straight down the road and I am also able to feel the rattle in the steering wheel. Is this most likely the same thing or should I look elsewhere?

Re: Steering column rattle
What year is the truck and have you ever done anything with the ISS?
I would suggest you crawl under the dash and take out the top bolt in the ISS and push it in and out a few times. Then bolt it up and take it for a drive and see if it improves. This was the original fix from GM on my 2004. I have since replaced the ISS and the bushing in the column and haven't had a problem for quite a while.
