I have a complete '63 closed knuckle Dana 44 front axle, including the original Spicer locking hubs. 3:93 ratio. asking $100, prefer to sell local, due to the weight.

located on the CT/MA border, just west of the "notch"

I just realized these are not "Spicer" hubs, but "Specialized Automotive Engineering". I had not looked at them since I removed the axle, quite a while ago. can't seem to post pics, I'll try to figure out why.

Hi Ed, I have a set of mismatched hubs on my basket case 62 K10. The Hub I need is the one on the right. it measures 7-1/4" tall and 6" from the bottom to the TOP of the ring that holds the lug nuts. let me know price for the pair with the lockouts; with shipping to 43025... thanks!

I'm not sure which hubs I have, but I'm pretty sure they match each other, at least. If you get both of mine, I'm sure one way or the other you'd have a matched set.....probably 3 of a kind!

Price sounds good Ed, try to get a measurement or photo of the hub for me.. I don't mind having three hubs, I just don't want three of the wrong hubs

Or if your hubs are like the one on the left, maybe your drums are 1/2 wider that would make up the gap between the drum and the backing plate..

Brian, I understand. These hubs are definitely a matched set, and appear to be the same as your one pictured on the right. they measure 6" from the end, to the back of the stud pate. I also measured the spindles, they are 5-3/8" total from the backing plate, and the end of the axle is 6-7/8", again, measured from the backing plate out.

Upon dissasembling, I'd say these hubs are in great shape, nothing inside appears to be damaged in any way.

rec'd payment from Brian, hubs will be be on their way Monday. I will wait a little bit on the rest of the axle, but she'll soon be on her way to becoming a KIA.....pound for pound, they must be able to get an entire Kia from the rest of that axle, no?
