Re: Lowering on a budget?
Summit Racing is usually priced right and has allot of selection or check the part pages here. There's usually what your looking for. Just got to keep checking. All depends on how low you want to go. There's a few ways to accomplish different heights.

Re: Lowering on a budget?
Cut 1 1/2 coils and do a flip kit. Cheapest way I can think of to get ~3/5 drop.

Re: Lowering on a budget?
I was on ebay and saw a Crown flip kit for $45 where as other brands were a few hundred more-is a flip kit all thats needed to lower the rear? Do I need the shackles also?
For the front are spindles a must? Sorry for all the questions-new to trucks and trying to figure out exactly what I need to lower my truck asap. |

Re: Lowering on a budget?
Spindles are best for the front but not a must
Find rear spring perches and weld them on and they are better than flip kits Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Lowering on a budget?
I ended up doing a Western Chassis flip kit with the notch included since you'll probably need one with a 5" drop. And springs are the cheapest way to do the front. I would recommend not cheaping out on shocks though so you get a decent ride. I like the Doetsch Techs the best.
