Found this Chevy C/L add quite funny and had to share.

Found this C/L add funny. http://ksu.craigslist.org/cto/3423232385.html

Pretty sure the dude is in a little hot water and probably been sleeping on the couch since he did the surprise buy on his wife.

I sent them an email referring them to this forum and to email me any questions if they feel they want change their minds and get it up and running. Trying to help the guy out, add a new member, and fuel his desire on these 67-72's.

Honestly, it is in pretty decent shape IMO. The dude seemed to have at least a little common sense about these trucks when he found this one. The only thing is, when she posted it on C/L she didn't get the year right. But that doesn't really matter, it was still a nice find for a inexperienced guy.

Not a bad price, body looks pretty straight and rust free. Probably could be had for $900. You never know with CL, could be someone's scheme to sell a truck.

How did that mirror get way up there? Must be a repaint...a while ago. I wonder what lies beneath. Not factory pinstripe.

I agree on a couple of things, she is punishing him for thinking he had control of his own balls, he did not ask her first, her pants are bigger than his and he will not find out until she has the cash back in her bank account.

Re: Found this Chevy C/L add quite funny and had to share.

If I wasn't deployed I would have went and looked at it myself. I would have told the wife about it, but she knows that if I want it she is going to let me have it. That's why I got 4 vehicles in the driveway. I have had 18 or 20 vehicles since we been together (going on 5 years), never denied my what I enjoy to do best.

I agree, probably could have it running in a long afternoon as long as the engine isn't blown. You should make the trip and pick it up. Be about a 10 hr total trip for you. I am from Humansville, Mo, 50 miles north of Springfield. Takes me 4 to 4 1/2 hrs to make the drive from Junction City/Manhattan Ks area to home.
