Question about wheel repair
Not sure where to put this so I will start here and mods can move it if they need to.
I have an aluminum American Racing wheel that has some curb rash and an actual dent at the bead. Can't find this style of wheel anywhere, have 3 nice ones and I am considering having it fixed. Seems to be lots of place's that do this type of work, can anybody recommend a place that they have used and had good luck with? Thanks Jeff

Re: Question about wheel repair
Go to a local body shop. I manage a body shop in Oklahoma and we sent aluminum wheels out daily for repair. My cost here is 110.00. Find out who they use and see if you can use them direct, as body shops typically apply a 25% markup. Unless is cracked or bent then the wheels are ususally repairable. Curb rash is seldom an issue.

Re: Question about wheel repair
Thanks for the reply, as you can see in the pic, there is a shallow dent. In your opinion could that dent be repaired? I really like these wheels and I have had no luck finding one like it, a $110 price to fix it wouldn't be to bad at all.

Re: Question about wheel repair
I've seen worse repaired. Looks repairable. Just dunno what the cost is in your area. Good looking wheel tho.

Re: Question about wheel repair
I have had some repaired here too (Oklahoma) I think it was the same cost as Ad1ct said mabe the same place, mirror finish or mirror something. They had wheels in the shop that had cracked spokes welded back together and machined. That little rash should be around $100 easy fix.
