carpet styles, loop or cut pile?

Well I am going to have to redo my carpet I am curious what most "custom" folks have done? I currently have the loop but see I can get the cut pile also. Any thoughts?
Thanks
Dave

Also, I am converting to a high hump. One place I am looking at just has 4x4 listed or 4 speed listed plus the usual 2wd. I know the 2wd is low hump would I want the 4x4 one to ensure it is a high hump?

Re: carpet styles, loop or cut pile?

I just ordered new carpet a couple months ago, and ended up going with an ultra plush pile cut, and I am glad I did. It is super nice and looks great, I know it isnt OEM but I like the look and feel of it. Just specify high hump 2wd and if you have a manual you will have to cut your hole where you want it.

When you shop around be sure to check Rock Auto. Their price plus shipping was the lowest I could find for ACC carpet. Stock Interiors also sells ACC. Both carry the plush as well as 80/20 loop. Also, double check the part number with ACC's website.

I used ACC (auto custom carpets). I went through Stock interior and they were nice people to deal with. Also you can get it with mass loaded vinyl and jute padding already on the carpet. The other nice thing about stock interior is that they will send you samples of color and types.

Re: carpet styles, loop or cut pile?

I better check them out. I was thinking the safe color for carpet in my Yellow is black but now I am not sure. I could go anywhere from tan to grey to black. I will probably get some of the nice carpet, my interior is something that needs some attention.
