Idoling not so good

Friend has a 89 Silverado 350 4/4 owned since new ... he has put new points condenser ,rotor,,plugs ,,wires,,fuel filter next to carb,,and it still runs rough and idols bad..
couple years ago it had a new sending unit put in the gas tank ..what else is there to tell him to maybe check on and fool with or fix to get it running smooth after starting it up..

I think he told me that it started a little hard also.. it has about 60K on a new crate motor ..

I say it's the carb ?? what say you?

Re: Idoling not so good

I might of stated things wrong with my question of whats wrong with the truck above that I am referring to..

what I would like to know is are there any thing that you would be checking that I am not thinking of to get this truck running without a rough idle?

thoughts appreciated .. I will relay them on to my friend as something to check on ..thx
