Dynomax 89024 - Thrush Header Back Exhaust System

Has anyone had any experience with the Dynomax 89024 - Thrush Header Back Exhaust System?
I have a 72 SWB K10 with headers, I was wondering if the kit fit well or was worth the money. $270.00. 2.25" pipe

Any help is appreciated.

Re: Dynomax 89024 - Thrush Header Back Exhaust System

I have never bought a full exhaust system from them. But I have purchased a Thrush Single in Dual Out Welded Muffler for a s10 I had, and I loved the quality and sound of the product after being installed. Thrush has been around for years, and produces quality mufflers IMO. As for the DynoMax header back system, no clue. I know DynoMax sells quality products from what I have read, and video's have seemed to show them giving good sound.

No problem. If you buy it and not happy with it, please don't bite my head off...lol Like I said, I was happy with the Thrush muffler I had.

You need an exhaust shop like the one I got locally. $175 to do header back with fatty glass packs and tips exiting in front of my rear tires on my 69. On my Titan, $375 from cat back for FM 40 series single in dual out with stainless steel tip exiting at the corners of my bumper. The guy that runs the muffler shop has owned it for 20 or 30 years. Cheapest around and if a hanger or something breaks, he fixes it for free. It's a one man shop and your tell him the sound you want, and that's what you get. Takes pride in his work. He is usually booked 3 weeks or so out.
