Tubular arms vs. Stock control arms

Im in the process of rebuilding my 67 truck and was wondering what I will gain by spending $800 or so on tubular arms. What makes them $800 better than stock uppper and lower control arms. I will be lowering the truck with a 2.5" drop spindle and a 2-3" drop spring. Can somebody help me justify spending the extra cash on tubular a arms. And yes I already know they look sweet.

Re: Tubular arms vs. Stock control arms

They will help correct the geometry of the suspension some, but mainly, you can have them built to be 1" narrower for extra wheel clearance, and move them 1" forward to help center the wheel in the wheel opening when lowered a lot.

Porterbuilt arms can be built with the above mentioned specs. Let me know if I can help get you some also.
