help?
I HAVE THE NEW BED ON AND WIRED UP THE LIGHTS....EVERYTHING WORKS FINE TURN SIGNALS, DASH, PARKING LIGHTS, AND BRAKE LIGHTS, UNTIL.....YOU HAVE THE TURN SIGNAL ON AND PUSH THE BRAKE THE OPPOSITE BRAKE LIGHT GOES OUT. TURN SIGNAL WORKS, BUT YOU LOSE THE BRAKE LIGHTS. WHEN THE TURN SIGNAL IS OFF BOTH BRAKE LIGHTS WORK FINE.

Make sure you have a ground strap from the box to the frame. Sounds like a ground problem.

6T9GMC,
I had a similar problem right after I purchased my 72'K10. With the brakes applied and the right turn signal initiated, my left rear brake light would shut off while the right rear light still flashed for the turn signal. After swapping bulbs, checking the grounds, checking the wiring and connectors, it all pointed to the turn signal switch in the steering column. Once the switch was replaced all was back to normal.
