Best Quality Drop Kit ideas
Looking to drop my stepside and Put some 20" Billets on it. I dont want to sacrafice anything that can be undone in the future. I'd like to keep the stock front drums and 6 lug pattern and dont want a harsh ride. Am I asking too much? and how low can I go without messing anything up?

If you're dead set on retaining the front drums, you're pretty much limited at a 3 inch spring drop max.

thats what I was afraid of. I have read that with drop spindles and disc brakes, you lose the ability to run stock wheels

You can use 71-87 stock steel 4x4 wheels with your hubcaps.

I read about 2" Drop A-Arms that allow you to retain the Stock front coils or combine with a drop coil. These are suppossed to help keep the ride better than 3" drop coils alone. Anyone try this?

Drop A arms? I think they are in the same category as chicken lips.

Try Charlies Drop Shop in Portland Oregon HE has been building and selling his own dropped lower control arms since the early 80's. If thats the direction you want to go.
