never seen one from the factory, most likely a conversion truck, like crews & 8 door subs. i think there was one company that did conversions & still carried the gm warranty

I agree. GM never made an extended cab at any plant prior to '88 when the trucks were redesigned. There was a conversion company (or more) and who knows how many they did.

Pretty nice...wish I had the money for something like that. I might go kick the tires to get a closer look at it.

There is a fellow in the forum here that collects these trucks. Just do a search for extended cab and he should come up with lots of pics.
They are a very neat truck!!

I havent seen that one. It is a very nice ride, but a bit pricy for my blood. May be worth it, but I like to build mine myself. That way I know everything is right. Real nice ride tho

if im not mistaken gm built about 1500 of em, they are hard to find... the truck is still for sale and is at our shop. we dropped it slapped some intros on it and had some pin striping done to it... its been sitting since turkey drag, have alot of other projects going on at the shop rt now. well bring it out when it warms up out

Re: have anyone seen a truck like this before? for sale too
GM didnt build any of them. Production numbers range from 500 per year from 84-86 or 2100 total producton. CVI in arlington Texas built the most, but several others built them as well. In over 5 years of searching I have found zero documentation and Ive met two original owners. They didnt figure it was that important. They were sold thru dealers just like the vans.
