I was counting the number of 73-87's I have owned today and it turns out I have owned 6 so far...wish I still had a few of the lost ones.
BTW, 88-91's count as well (Blazers, CC's, Suburbans) Here they are in order... -75 3/4 ton 2WD LWB 350, 4-speed (don't miss it) -78 1/2 ton 2WD LWB 250, 3 on the tree (I miss it!) -82 1/2 ton 2WD LWB 305, th350c (I miss it, but not the 305!) -73 "YELLER" 1/2 ton 2WD SWB 468, 700r4 (never ending resto) -76 "Frankenstein" 1/2 ton 2WD LWB 350, th350 (just sold it) -77 "Woody" Blazer 1/2 ton 2WD 350, th350 (driver) Lets hear what you folks have had or have. ...Jeff |

Well sadly I personally have not owned any, I'm only 15, but hope to own as many as I can as soon as I get my license. But in my direct family I think its about 5:
1. Chevy 3/4 ton farm truck(still got it) 2. Chevy 3/4 ton farm truck(sold it when I was little) 3. Chevy 1/2 ton, 350, Dads truck(sold it when I was little) 4. 77 Chevy Scottsdale, 1/2 ton, 305 (Grandads only new vehicle he ever bought, bought by my Dad when I was little, and sold by my damn uncle[technically it was still owned by the family farm, and I guess the farm needed the money]without my Dads permission about 6 months after my dad spent 3 grand restoring it. 5. 84 Chevy Silverado 1/2 ton 305, about 3 trannys(my older brothers first vehicle, bought it when he as 18, hit a speed limit sign and messed up the front end, drove it like that for a year and a half, spent a few grand restoring it, now bright red) Thats all I can think of right off hand, sorry there aren't more details, I was too young to know too much about some of them when we got rid of them. I hope to buy a 79 Crew Cab soon, its in rough shape but with some work it should be cool.

Well, I still own all of them I've ever owned (minus one body that I trashed in Connecticut). Here are mine:
1984 K10 SWB 350 700R4 12 bolt Silverado (480k miles) 1986 C10 LWB 350 700R4 Silverado 1976 C10 SWB was a 250 3 on tree, but just bought it for the frame 1987 R10 SWB 6.2 Diesel Silverado 1975 GMC Gentleman Jim (C15, 350, TH350 LWB) 1980 GMC Indy Hauler (C15, 350, TH350C, SWB) In my family, we've had more of these trucks than I can count, for starters: 1977 GMC C15 Heavy Half Sierra Classic (454, TH400, AC, Tilt, cruise, air, tach, pw,pdl etc etc...) Was my grandfathers last new truck. Another 1975 GMC Gentleman Jim 1975 GMC Beau James my uncle just picked up for $900, I may end up with this one.

Don't let Chris (Capt. Kaos) see this thread. He will shut down the server with his post. I think he has the entire collection of 73-87's...

This truck is the only vehicle I have ever owned of any body style.
I hope to buy something else (and keep the truck) within the next year or two.

1979 K10... Very rugged... PO was an @sshole, couldn't/wouldn't hand over title. I ended up applying for a title and got one (don't remember what type exactly). Well the PO still claimed that he owned the truck. Long story short, we ended up sending the truck back.
1979 K10... "Soon" to be mine... maybe? Just waiting for the owner to return from Texas... -Chris

heres the trucks ive had
1973 Chevy C20 350/TH350 loved that truck but my sold it after giving it to me but before giving me the title because he needed money supposedly more than i needed transportation 1978 Chevy C10 350/TH350 SWB bought to replace the 73 it had a blown motor in it when i bought it i replaced that but wish i never had wasted the time and money because i absolutely hated that truck and dont miss it at all.traded it for another truck 1978 Chevy C10 350/TH350 LWB traded the hated 78 for it traded for it in 1999 ran good until 2001 when it started going through trannies like a mofo i shelved it.eventually bought another truck that runs far better.this truck is now in the process of being parted out.need somewhere to store to begin parting it out.like the truck but i need the money right now 1974 Chevy C10 Cheyenne Super LWB 350/TH350 my current truck since 11/2001 runs good but looks like hell still love the truck though and im not getting rid of it no matter what.plan on fixing the body someday and making a few mods to it then getting a driver to beat the **** out of and keep this as a playtoy so that makes 4 73-87's plus one 67-72-a 68 stepside i sold to my dad

Well, let's see, counting my current 85, two. I owned a 73 LB Fleetside many years ago. It was a 3 speed manual on the column with a six banger.
