Cool WTB Solid cab in my area

Anyone in my area with a solid cab to sell? I'm in central Illinois and have a trailer so pick-up would not be a problem. I've seen a lot of cabs available on this site but all were too far away. Iowa,Wisconsin,Indiana,Illinois all ok. I just can't afford to ship one in from far away and I can't take a really long road trip right now because of work. Thanks! Bob

Cool Re: WTB Solid cab in my area

Cab can be with doors or without, A/C or non-A/C.,Preferably a small hump. I am looking for doors too. All for a '71. Thanks. Figured it was worth a shot to post this.

What do you call a solid cab? One that needs the usual replacement panels?

Cool Re: WTB Solid cab in my area

Preferably rust free, but I don't mind if it only needs rockers/cab corners. Solid, original cab supports a must. rust free firewall and floors, please. Definitely solid drip rails and inner headliner. I have a rusty cab that needs everything above except drip rails and headliner area are solid. I just prefer a nicer orig. cab. I know it sounds like I'm nitpicking but It's what I want. Thanks. Bob

You might want to hit up board member Fine69, as he is located in Ohio and has dragged back several low-to-no rust cabs, doors, and other sheet metal from Arizona and California.

Re: WTB Solid cab in my area

How far is too far? 300 miles? I know of one near me that had rockers n cab corners done but believe it still needed work on the floor pan that had been chemically dipped 3 X's n treated i could inquire about further for you. It was a stripped cab for the dipping process. I don't know what he was asking for it. So no doors. Let me know I can check and get pics n more info.

Re: WTB Solid cab in my area

[I] have one in Northwest Indiana. It has real clean floor and windshield, one rocker has a hole and such. It has a rust spot on the drip rail above the passenger side door. It came from Nevda. I could email you pictures if you like.
