Shaky Mirrors - Pic

I installed the mirrors on my truck and they are the single arm type. They have a lot of shake to them when going down the road. I thought the only option of solving the issue was the tri-mounted type but then I saw the one in the picture below while watching a show I love called, "Psych." Does anybody know the name of these type? It appears to have two arms and they don't extend a long distance up or down like the other kinds. (Sorry for the poor quality, I used my camera phone on my tv.)

The single arm mirrors, especially the flyswatter long arm style are going to shake some.

The mirror in the picture appears to be the later style square body tripod mirror. The arm goes into the side vs attaching externally to the center back of the head.
