c-60 CL find (not mine)

As much as I don't like seeing a perfectly complete running truck cannibalized, just look at that cab.......

I bet guys have spent more than 1600 fixing cab rust, and you could scrap the rest for 2-300 bucks.

Car hauler... just change the bed.

Looked like it might have a 2spd rear, too. (wiring on the shift handle)

Re: c-60 CL find (not mine)

Ive got a 65 chevy and a 62 gmc tandem grain truck on the farm, those old farm truck cabs are usually pretty clean. Ive always wanted to get a singel ax and put a 5th wheel on it and use it for pulling a goose neck like a little semi. Those 2 speed rear ends are actually really slick when you get onto driving them, not as nice as a 5 and a 4 though. some are vacume and some are electric. My neaighbor has a 65 c60 twin screw with an automatic and air brakes im waiting for an auction sale

It does, when you expand the pic the shift knob is clearly visible. My dad drove 1 of these for several years on a rural delivery route. The truck he drove had a reefer on it, he delivered meat to grocery stores.

You and me both!
My 17 year old said if it was a 1-ton with a flatbed and duals, we'd be flying out there this weekend to drive it home.

Can't figure out why a 17 year old hot-rodder wants an early flat-bed 1-ton so bad, but he loves them.

Nice truck with a good price to boot.

I agree, it would be a nice car hauler.
