kinda like another opinion.....

went to my buddy's house last w/end,parked in his drive way w/ a pretty steep grade.came out to show him my purty new ball-milled valve covers only to notice a fresh puddle under my truck.got underneath and seen it was coming from the rear of my tranny, right where the out-put shaft exits into the yoke,w/ a pretty steady drip.never had noticed a problem b-4,what the he!! did i lose the rear main seal?another buddy at work said some yoke's have a "weep" hole in the center of the yoke between the ears to the u.j. he said some yoke's have 'em some don't.the angle that i had parked on had shifted the fluid to the back of the housing. any one else experience this b-4? he said an easy solution they used in the shop,(he's an ex- mr. goodwrench dealer mechanic) was to put a spot of silicone over the weep hole after cleaning it down real good w/ carb. clnr. anyone? thanks for any and all replies!!

I wouldn't worry about it, I think you're probably okay.
You want some fluid to leak out to lube the slip yoke. If it leaks when on level ground then that's not good, but it sounds like it was a pretty steep driveway and I'm sure it's fine.
