starter problems
i have a 1965 283 in my 61 gmc, i swaped in a th350 to replace the 3 speed, everything was going fine untill i mounted up my starter. I shimed it everything seemed ok untill i noticed the starter sits so far to the front of the engine that their is hardly any surface are for the srater gear to mesh with the flex plate, whats going on here??
