Front End Swap 62 to a 68
Kind of an odd question I know...maybe the wrong forum but...I need to know if I can swap a font end (engine cross member suspension parts/ control arms etc.) from one of our year trucks (67-72) to a 62 Chevy Pickup. The 62 has a tortion bar set-up in the front and I want to get rid of it. Anybody have any info on this??? Thanks guys!
Douglas.

Hmm, good question. I think it was in 64 they went to the coils up front, and that set up was for the best part, exactly like a 68.
I wouldn't be suprised if it will bolt right up. One question though...if you're gonna do all this work, why not use a donor truck with discs? |
