Thick Black Smoke in the Cab!

I just had the crap scared out of me..Stopped at the gas station to fill up my truck this afternoon. When I pulled away from the pump thick black smoke started pouring from the area around the ashtray. Now since I did most of the wiring myself for my TPI conversion: fan, fuel pump, computer..I feared the worst ...She's gonna burn!!! Opened the ashtray and saw that the lighter was melting in place...Pulled over and tossed it out the window...I swear I saw my truck's life flash before my eyes..lol.
