Somebody Jump on this Dually in OKC
I am not affiliated with this truck at all. Somebody needs to jump on this deal. Its a 78 single cab dually with a newer clip. Nice paint on front clip and cab. No bed. 350 4 bolt main, turbo400. $700. I wish I had a use/could afford the cash.

Re: Somebody Jump on this Dually in OKC
In the rust belt around here the cab alone is worth that 700.

Not necessarily a winner; front tire flat, engine cobbled together, flex fan with no shroud, missing door lock etc.

Re: Somebody Jump on this Dually in OKC
marker light broke/missing, mirror broke, interior dirty.
How does a truck end up in this condition should be the real question. i would say $700 is too high. i would think $150-200 tops would be appropriate. |

Re: Somebody Jump on this Dually in OKC
700 would be fair around here. Body parts, tilt wheel, a/c parts, cab and frame are worth that

Re: Somebody Jump on this Dually in OKC
i'm looking at it from a standpoint of rebuilding.
But why does a truck end up in this condition? Have you ever let any of your vehicles deteriorate to that level? |

I never cared for the older trucks with newer front ends anyway, sort of ruins it for me. Not to mention a dually with a small block is like having a super model for a wife that you can't touch Personally, it's good for parts and that's about it. Strip it... |

Mine also has a 250 inline , Why? It was cheap . Its my daily driver , 80 miles a day to work and back . I pull a 20 foot goose neck now and then . That 350 wouldn't scare me at all LOL . My old ton was owned by a small company . Most are treated pretty rough . |

I've towed with a few 350's, just not up to par for my standards I guess. I like grunt, and lots of it. In your case, swapping from the 84 to 89 front wouldn't be that big of a deal to me, they all look like newer trucks to me when you get up into the 80's and 90's. It's when you take a distinctive 79 and older front end and swap on an 81 and up where I lose interest. |

Re: Somebody Jump on this Dually in OKC
You guys saying it should bring 150 to 200 dollars are from a different planet than I am. Here, a truck like that is worth the price. The scrap value is way more than 200 dollars.
I could absolutely part that truck out for twice what he's asking. |
