i may be sick!

i found a 70 K2500 today on CL. its about a day away from me, but seems to be a decent buy. it was restored/repainted about 20 years ago and shows its age in the paint. it looks nice and aged but not beat up/rusty.

i had a 70 K2500 years ago, and always wished i had kept it. i'm not sure i eed to be buying a truck but i did get the OK from the wife...

Ryan

Sounds like you are going to buy a 70 K2500 Ryan. If you have thought about it long enough to share those thoughts, it is as good as done.

Just be careful with the OK from the wife, that sounds way to easy to me.

Re: i may be sick!

Ryan you are sick dude.
i think it might be something called General Motors Disease, i and many others on this site suffer from it too. symtoms may include endless hours searching craigslist ads for useable parts, your head may tend to swivel back and forth while driving in search of possible projects parked along the nearby roads or back alleys, increased isolation from others as you find yourself spending countless hours in the shop working on your project, obsessing over the details of your build and the tendency to take in stray vehicles in hopes of saving them from the crusher.
but serously dude congrats go get it, we know you will do an awsome job with this one too!

Re: i may be sick!

Those 4 headlights are what got me hooked on these trucks.

shes pretty cool with it. the reason i am saying i don't need to be buying a truck is because i have my 2 72s and the jeep. i would be selling my F250 after getting this one to a daily driver state. from talking with the gentleman basically needs brakes and tires.

Re: i may be sick!

Now i am on the fence. last night i found a newer (2000) NBS GMC that has piqued my interest as well. 6.0/5speed. regular cab longbed. the wife likes it, maybe more. i had an 03 chevy that was the same color. we both like it. its closer to home. BUT..... i have this affliction for 67-72 K20s and i really like the blue one.

i need help. or enough money for both....

Wow, that old one looks nice. I hope you fall onto the correct side of the fence. And judging by your avatar, you already know which side that is..
