I have a 68 c10 that I am working on. A guy that helps me out from time to time had this suburban with a built 468 in it. His other truck blew the trans out so he pulled it out of the burb, pulled the engine for later use and was going to scrap the burb. I asked what he thought he would get scrapping it. He said 200 bucks. I offered him 200 bucks and am now the owner of a suburban. Like I needed a 5th vehicle.

The good:

-14 bolt full floater just rebuilt with 4.10s and a locker
-matching front diff just rebuilt with rebuilt lock in hubs
-what I think is a 6 inch suspension lift
-37 inch super swampers with fair tread
-recently replaced exhaust with flowmaster mufflers

The bad:

-both rockers are shot. like shot.
-a couple of the doors are shot, like rust flakes coming off and holes in the door
-various other holes rusted through the body

The truck also came with a set of mickey thompson classic 2 wheels that are pretty nice.

So the plan is to sell the wheels and just sit on it for a little while. I didn't really have a need to buy it as I am in the process of fixing up my 68, but I couldn't pass up the deal.

Here is a teaser picture
