hello all new to the forum. I am trying to id these truck wheels any help would be appreciated. i think they are mid 40s light truck or 1 ton but what do i know. are they junk or is there a market for them. let me know if i meed to post different pics

Ton and a half or 2 ton trucks, widow makers I believe they were called.

Most tire places will not work on split rims anymore, too much liability. I ran them on my truck so I could change my flats in the boonies. I carried two heavy chains to hold the ring when it released. When I was in the Army we had a cage we put them in to take apart and air up, a couple of times the rings let loose and really rattled around. A stock guy may what them but I would include some indemnification language in the bill of sale so you cannot be accused of selling a defective wheel that harmed someone.

Those appear to be split ring ring and not widow makers. Widow makers come apart at the center of the wheel and have a big hump on the back side of the wheel where they fit together. Those are perfectly fine to use. Value? Well the only value is to a person restoring an old chevy. If they are in good shape....place an add over on the stovebolt web site. Guys are alway looking for wheels on there. Don't expect to get more than about 20 bucks a wheel.

They look like split ring to me.
A pic of the wheel in the top of the pic showing all the way around the wheel would help. I'd guess Ford judging by the size of the stud hole.

You could honestly probably get more for scrap than most guys want to pay for them.

I put six of them with good looking but old tires that would work on a truck used out on a farm or ranch on craigslist for 100.00 a year ago and didn't get a bite on them except for one scrapper that wanted them for free. I've got six more with tires about like what you have that I am going to haul for scrap pretty soon.

Here is the way the 15 x 8 Enkies look on it with the 3-1/2 inch back spacing and the 255-60 tires.

I'm not sure what the tread width is right off the bat but it's close to 10 inches.

My ongoing truck projects: 48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six. 71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant. 77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
