posi cost ?

How much can expect to pay to put a pos unit in my rearend?Which ones are you guys runnin and any suggestions?

I paid $100 to have my Eaton installed thru a friend. A local speed shop qouted me $200.

i paid about $325 for my Eaton and $150 for the install. I also had the gears done at the same time. If you are planning any other rear end work, do it at the same time. It'll save on the total cost.

well, i went for all new with moroso posi and richmond gears add to that all new bearings etc. plus installation cost me about $1000 to have the rear complete done

I had an eaton posi and a new gearset installed in my truck... 340 for the posi and 300 for the install (everything installed).

I'm getting mine rebuilt on Monday 6-9-03 down here in So Cal. I'm getting all new Richmond gears, bearings, Eaton Posi unit, carrier, seals, axle bearings, and installation for 850.00. Not bad since I got a few other estimates, one of which was Toms Differential and they wanted over a $1,000. plus having it for 3-4 weeks...Hell no!
