Re: Rear Wheel Disc Brake Brackets?

Looks as though they say to use a 6 lug rotor?

They work on both Shawn. I have a set just trying to figure out the rotor as the one he suggested didnt work. I am shipping your mirror out tommorrow, been working out of town to cover a guy who left on paternal leave. finally let me fly back on wednesday.

used a 78-82 six lug 4x4 rotor, i have the number but it's in my shop some where, if you need the caliper number i have that too, one thing about using that rotor, you will either have to enlarge the hole in the rotor or turn the end of the axle down so the rotor will slide on, i turned the axle down because you change more rotors that you do axles. but i did my rear brakes for $225. not bad for piecing it together and they work great

Re: Rear Wheel Disc Brake Brackets?

If you follow that link, look under sellers other items.
He also complete kits in both 5 and 6 lug.
Brackets, calipers, rotors, hoses, pads, e-brake extensions, bolts, etc. all as a package.
I looked at this for my 2wd shortbed, and didn't think the kit prices were out of line at all.
However, putting it together for under $300 was darned good.

Re: Rear Wheel Disc Brake Brackets?

I have his complete setup on my 68, it came with dilled and slotted rotors, calipers, hoses, intermediate cables etc. It was a very good kit, all i had to add was a diff. cover gasket, and wheel seals. It went on super easy( my 5 year old daughter helped me) and works great! I would buy it again and may for the 70.

Harold- Did you have to use a disc/disc prop valve or change your master cylinder? Are you running stock (or rallye) 15" wheels with this kit? E-brake connects with no problems? Thanks for your input, I am about to pull the trigger on this setup and just wanted to ask you a couple questions.
