pull strap trim



Were the pull strap end trim originally made of plastic like the aftermarket ones?

did they break from using the pull strap? the early ones had no washer/retainer over the end of strap so the covers constantly broke their tabs off....what year do you have?

I actually have a 79 but the door panels are off an 84 (I think). I do not use the pull strap they just broke when putting one on and the other just came off the other day when the wife closed the door.

Put a piece of beutel tape on the chrome cap and stick it back on.
