New to The Site & Pics Of Truck
I am new to this site so hello to everyone! The pics are of a truck I just bought from a guy on eBay. It is a 1960 with an Oldsmobile V8 and automatic. I had a 1960 Chevy about 35 years ago so I thought it was time to replace it. The color is about the same.

Re: New to The Site & Pics Of Truck
Welcome from a new guy too.
Please post a pic or two of the bed and also the interior if you can. We are fixated on buying a 60 Chevy as my wife has a thing for the "eyes" as she calls the bonnet features. Thanks, Rian |

Welcome to the forum! Beautiful truck. Sounds like a fun power train. I'd like to see pictures of the engine when you can.

Welcome Aboard, Sweet Truck...
The following was posted by "Chevyrestoguy" on a thread of another new guy, and this says it all! I Concur wholeheartedly with this statement. "You'll have a blast on this site. Great people, beautiful trucks, LOTS of excellent tech info, and everybody gets along without the silly bickering you see on a lot of car websites. We're all truck geeks here, and we make a special effort to help each other out, whether it's advise, technical info, or parts. We're all in this together."

Re: New to The Site & Pics Of Truck
A lot of very nice workmanship in there, and I love seeing alternate motors in our trucks. At one time I really wanted to install a Pontiac or Buick engine in my truck.

Re: New to The Site & Pics Of Truck
I bought it mostly to drive. But as everyone knows there are always a few things that a person just wants to be different. The gauges need a bit of work. The heater core has been bypassed. Mostly minor things need to be done to improve the experience. The major problem that bothers me the most is the steering wheel seems to be set back towards the driver a bit too far. I suppose this was a by-product of the power steering addition.
