WTB:Below Eyeline Side View Mirrors Stainless

Hey I am looking to buy a nice set of the Below Eyeline Sideview Mirrors. I had these mirrors on my truck 20 years ago and they have since dissappeared. I am at the point of my restoration that I need them, please help. I am not looking to beat anybody up on the price so if you have a nice set I am willing to give every penny of what they are worth. Thanks, Kevin

Re: WTB:Below Eyeline Side View Mirrors Stainless

I have a set in the parts stash, have the fade away mirrors attached. Not sure they are factory but appear to be. Nice with no dings or dents on the back. Glass and rubber intact. Will be able to post pics tomorrow if interested. $35 plus shipping for the pair.

Nice looking truck by the way. I like it.

Re: WTB:Below Eyeline Side View Mirrors Stainless

i bought a really nice pair from someone on here awhile back for my 72 Burb C20 to replace those stupid sport mirrors that everyone but us wants on their truck. only problem is i will need to have the old holes welded up and a template would be nice to locate the mirrors in the factory spot.

keep asking, a good set will pop up sooner or later. and that is a BEAUTIFUL truck you have!!!

I still have the old passanger door to let me know where to drill the holes, and thank you to everyone for the nice comments.

Re: WTB:Below Eyeline Side View Mirrors Stainless

Mirror pics. Have not had them mounted, I got in these in a box of parts along with other truck parts. Can not verify they are factory, both stainless mirros are marked " DP " stamped on back. Mirror glass is good, no dents or dings. If you have any questions will do my best to answer. $35 for the pair plus shipping.

Re: WTB:Below Eyeline Side View Mirrors Stainless

Ironhorse, those mirrors are very close to the one I want. I don't think there 100% right though. I just measured the old white I had and on the bottom bracket measuring center to center 7" and the bracket coming off the door was 6" long and more round. I am still interested though depending on the measurement of the bottom bracket center to center. If you could measure that and let me know. I think 35.00 is more than fair. Thanks for helping me out.

Re: WTB:Below Eyeline Side View Mirrors Stainless

Should have included the measurements in the picture post. Lower arms measure 15 1/2" bolt center to bolt center. Down angle on arm measures 9 1/2" from pivot bolt to lower mounting hole. Door bracket is just over 2 1/2" long. Hope that helps, LMK.

the mirrors i bought for my 72 burb c20 (identical to those on my dad's 72 burb c10) use the same head and arm, but the brackets are different. the lower arms are shorter and have a smaller angle. also, the top bracket is tubular and the tab at the end angles slightly up instead of turning 90 deg down.

Re: WTB:Below Eyeline Side View Mirrors Stainless

Yeah, those are the exact ones I want. They do not take away from the trucks appearence as some of the bigger ones but they function alot better than the smaller ones. Plus my garage door is only 8' wide so the other bigger one's won't fit. I am hoping to get a pair before spring so I put the rest of the doors together.

Not a problem if these mirrors are not what your looking for. Just thought they might be. As I mentioned I've not had them mounted and not sure what truck they came from. Back into the parts shed, LOL Have a good day and hope you find what your looking for.

Re: WTB:Below Eyeline Side View Mirrors Stainless

I still maybe interested, I maybe able to use some of the parts to make what I am looking for, if someone else has the mounting brackets only that I need. Don't hold on to them for me ,but if I need to piece these together and you still have them, than I will buy them from you. Thank you so much.

I think you are just helping out with the picture and that is awesome, but do you wanna sell the mirrors?

Ironhorse, I just spoke with someone who said they may have brackets I need, but their mirrors may not be so good. He is going to dig them out tomorrow and let me know the condition. If what he say is true, I think we may have a deal on your mirrors , I will let you know as soon as he lets me know. I hope I am not being to much of a pain, thanks.

Re: WTB:Below Eyeline Side View Mirrors Stainless

Just let me know, maybe we can work this out for you to have the style mirrors you want. I have the larger styled camper mirrors on my truck but I have 10' doors on my garage and shop both so fit is not a problem. Good luck on your quest.

I know the sport mirrors are in different spots left to right , you may want to check your old right door compared to the blue left door pics , make sure you don't have to drill those nice red doors twice!

Re: WTB:Below Eyeline Side View Mirrors Stainless

all the big mirrors are mounted parallel to each other. the sport mirrors are the only ones i've ever seen that are off (why they couldn't pick a happy medium is beyond me).

What's the length on those short arms? Thanks

Re: WTB:Below Eyeline Side View Mirrors Stainless

Ironhorse

The mirrors are you have are 73 and up because the short upper arm and the way it's bent.

The other problem is because alot of aftermarket mirrors were made and the 73 and up very hard to buy without them being mounted on the truck.

Hope this helps.
